AIL Division 2B — Skerries RFC 22–24 Malone

The hosts suffered their first home defeat of the season after losing to the visiting Belfast side. Despite controlling much of the match and leading by ten points in the second half, Skerries proved unable to maintain their advantage.

Malone scored early through Jacob Edwards' breakaway try, but Ronan Mulcahy responded with penalties and an impressive chip-and-chase try. The half ended 14-7 to Skerries. The home team extended their lead to 22-14 through Mikey Sherlock's try, yet discipline ultimately proved crucial to the outcome as penalty concessions allowed Malone to score twice more. Out-half Matty Smyth's final penalty secured victory with five minutes remaining.
