Club Policies

Members should represent the club positively on social media. The following guidelines apply to all members, volunteers and supporters:

• Do not post content that could bring the club into disrepute.
• Photographs of underage players should only be shared with parental consent and should not include names or other identifying information.
• Do not tag underage players in photos on public platforms.
• Treat all clubs, opponents, referees, and officials with respect in any public post or comment.
• Official club accounts are managed by designated volunteers — do not create unofficial accounts purporting to represent Skerries RFC.
• Any concerns about content should be raised with the Club Secretary or Child Welfare Officer.

Skerries RFC fully supports the IRFU's anti-doping policy and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) regulations.

• The use of prohibited substances or methods as defined by WADA is strictly forbidden.
• Any player found in breach of these regulations will face sanctions as outlined by the IRFU.
• Players are responsible for any substance they ingest, including supplements — check all supplements against the WADA Prohibited List before use.
• If you are prescribed medication, check with the team doctor or pharmacist if it appears on the prohibited list.

• All members have the right to participate in club activities free from bullying, harassment, or victimisation.
• We actively encourage participation from all sections of the community in Skerries and the wider North County Dublin area.
• Any complaint of discrimination should be reported to the Club Chair or Secretary and will be investigated promptly and fairly.
• The club supports the IRFU's diversity and inclusion initiatives and Rugby for All programme.
