Friday 23rd July saw all roads lead again to Skerries Golf Club for our annual golf classic, with a return to more normal setup on course than last year’s covid restricted event.
It was once again a sold out event, and we thanks all teams, all contributors & all sponsors, who paid for signs on the course tees and greens. It is all very much appreciated and important to our club fundraising.
The event saw a very tight result, with Niall O’Reilly and his team just pipping Jackie Lee’s all-lady 4 ball.
1st place: Niall O’Reilly, Nicky Carroll, Ted Scanlon & Andy Kenny – 107 pts
2nd place: Jackie Lee, Grainne Bowler, Ailish Humphries & Trudy Henry – 106 pts
3rd place: Seamus Mulholland, Darragh Hanlon, Rhona Mulholland & Sandra Moore.
Later that evening, everyone returned to Skerries clubhouse for drinks, raffle & event prize giving. Our new outside patio area was jammed for the evening – and we thank everyone again for your support, of our bar and within the annual event raffle.
Thanks also go to Jim and our bar staff, for keeping the drinks flowing all night on what was a balmy, beautiful outside evening in the club. Big thanks also to all who donated food and prizes to the event.
We look forward to seeing you all again for another sell out golf classic in July 2022.
