🦅 EAGLES SET TO DESCEND ON SKERRIES 🇺🇸
We are very excited to play host to the USA Rugby Women’s Eagles squad for an open training session on Saturday, September 12th!! 📔
🐐 Led by Skerries Rugby Club's own Jack Hanratty in his role as head coach, the squad is in town ahead of their #WXVRugby Global Series meeting with IrishRugby at Tallaght Stadium on Sunday, September 20th. ☘️
The group will be visiting some sites around Skerries, before taking to the pitch at Holmpatrick for what will be a full-contact / game scenario session, in preparation for the Ireland match. 💪
🏉 As if that wasn’t enough exertion for the day, the players will then be put through their paces in a series of skills drills and a meet-and-greet open to all club members and the wider community. 🤝
This is a significant event for Skerries RFC and for women’s rugby in the area, as we get to see one of the world’s top international teams in preparation for a big test match, and so we would encourage everyone to come out and take up the opportunity. 🫡
